privacy
short version: this is a small independent music project. the website doesn’t track you, and the tooling behind it only ever touches our own mailbox.
the website
scrappyvibes.com is a static site. there are no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, and no comment system. it sets none of its own cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts.
our host keeps the ordinary technical logs every web server keeps — IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time it was requested. those exist only to serve the pages and keep the site secure. we don’t build profiles from them and we don’t combine them with anything else.
links out to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and Ko-fi lead to services with their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.
if you write to [email protected], we keep your message so we can read it and reply. we don’t add you to a mailing list, we don’t sell or share your address, and we don’t use it for anything except answering you.
the inbox tooling
we run a small in-house program that helps us keep up with that mailbox. it connects only to our own ScrappyVibesFM mailbox through Google’s official API, and it does two things: sort incoming mail into folders, and prepare draft replies for a person to review. it never sends mail on its own.
message content it processes is stored only on our own machine, to build a short internal summary of what’s waiting. that data is never sent to any third party, never used for advertising, and never sold or shared. it is not used to train any model. our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
changes
if this policy changes, we’ll update this page. last updated 2026-08-31.
